Is CBD Right For You? 

 My Personal Testimony & The Entourage Effect

Why use CBD? A nagging shoulder injury or ‘impingement’ opened the door for me to the world of CBD or Cannabidiol. I had been in constant pain for over three months. My aching shoulder would not allow me to sleep. I had lost range of motion and strength in the affected shoulder. The pain was constant.  I could not escape it.  I’m a very active person.  I like to work out, water ski, swim, bike, hike and enjoy the great outdoors. My quality of life began to suffer. I was miserable, cranky and fatigued.  My usual energetic, optimistic self was just in a funk. Plain and simple. I tried several rounds of acupuncture and chiropractic treatments and got no relief. Non-Steroidal Anti Inflammatory drugs (NASID), like Naproxyn did provide a little relief but are very hard on the stomach and liver when used for a long period of time.  I refused to subject myself to the potential side effects of NASID’s and was determined to find a more natural holistic remedy.

I had heard about the benefits of CBD Oil and decided to give it a try. After about 5 days, I noticed that my range of motion was beginning to return, the dull pain that was so constant wasn’t nearly as bad as it was, and most importantly I was sleeping better. After 10 days, I was almost back to normal, my strength was returning and I was able to return to my normal work out schedule. 

I began to research CBD oil and it’s benefits.  What I learned really blew me away. I found that cannabis sativa or marijuana plants, contain some of the strongest anti-inflammatory compounds on the planet and have been used to relieve pain since  2900 B. C. The Chinese found great benefit from the more than 100 chemical compounds in cannabis sativa for maladies such as rheumatoid arthritis, gout and even malaria. CBD is non psychoactive and will not get you high like it’s related cousin THC, which is the main psychoactive cannabinoid found in cannabis.  

Wow. All I know is it worked for me! I became a CBD believer!

Full Spectrum CBD & The Entourage Effect

CBD has demonstrated a huge potential to address many health related maladies, yet much more testing is required to provide definitive results.  One of the topics of great conversation when it comes to CBD is the Entourage Effect. CBD is only one of  dozens of cannabinoids and terpenes that are found in the resin glands of Cannabis. Others include CBC, CBA, CBG and THC.  In addition, there are terpenes like pinene, limonene, myrcene and caryophyllene that are responsible for the scents and flavors that a plant produces.  This is true for all plants not just cannabis plants.

When all of these compounds and terpenes come together in The Mother’s Best Full Spectrum CBD Oil, this phenomenon creates a synergistic effect known as The Entourage Effect.
